Tam's actually driving back up to Salt Lake right now, but she wanted me to help her post some pics of our Biggest Loser Weekend. So here they are, in no particular order...

We made a friend before the big race (she saw our sexy stretching poses) and she took some pictures of us running, so there might be some better pics later on. She named us rowdy blue.

Here's Heather and Tam, just getting started.

You can't tell, but we're posing as the Letterman... Right behind us... We thought we were pretty funny. Ready and Waiting!!!
We had beautiful scenery.
Just before we left.
This is Ada, the winner of the Biggest Loser last season.
Sebastion, Ariel and Eric, just after the big race.
Tam's first number!
Ticked and Tired.
Here are our sexy warm up poses.

All in all we had a blast!!!

Disneyland was offering a travel agent promotion that was just too good to pass up!
So, April, Autie and I jumped on a Southwest flight and headed to LA!
We got to the park as fast as we could, and stayed until closing.
April clued us in to the "FASTPASS" system and we fit alot in, then returned to our Disney hotel.
California Adventure Park is new since I was there last and we loved it!
I have to say my favorite ride was "Tower of Terror" which seemed to surprise everyone for some reason.
Autie hated it,(she kept trying to hop off) and both Autie and April rate Space Mountain as their favorite ride.
They both agree their favorite experience was the "Princess Luncheon" where we met Ariel in Ariel's Grotto and had a princess feast with Snow White, Belle, Cinderella,Aurora and of course my 2 princesses April and Autumn.
I even went on the"California Screamin" roller coaster (but have to admit my eyes were closed most of the time)
We loved "Soaring over Caifornia" and got drenched on the" Grizzly River Run"!
It was a short and sweet 3 days, but SO much fun! We played hard and were tired but what a blast!
We are hoping they have this same promotion again!

SPRINGTIME!

I absolutely love Spring! The earth re-awakening creates a re-awakening in me!
It is a hopeful season....hope that Spring will one day come. Hope that the grass will turn green again, hope that buds will blossom and flowers will bloom! I can't wait to feel the warmth of the sun and to get outdoors again! It also means Easter and the hope that the season brings.
Facebook seemed to take over the blog world for awhile, but I have been re-inspired to post a blog entry more often. Not that all that much interesting happens at the Hagen home, but once in awhile we have an event worthy of posting.I enjoy reading about my family and friends, and hopefully they feel the same.

Happy New Year ! 2009

Hopefully very soon I will have some pictures to document all the good times we had as a family through the holidays! Some of the highlights were: Attending the :"Twilight" movie premiere with my "girls",Hosting Thanksgiving dinner for my family, and the traditional "Turkey Bowl" game and Thanksgiving night movie. It is hard to find a movie that appeals to ages 2 through 50 but we all went to see BOLT.
Went to the Desert Star Christmas show and also with the Young Men and Women to see the lights at Temple Square.
It has been a family tradition to do the horse and buggy ride downtown, but now that our family has grown so much,it didn't sound so fun to be separated so we rented the trolley car at Thanksgiving Point and did the lights there. We had cocoa and sang Christmas Carols. It was a little cheesy, but we still had fun!
Probably my favorite thing was having a progressive dinner with my own little family.
We started at Heather and Travis' for soup and appetizers, then went to April and Eric's for soup and homemade breadsticks, then on to Heidi and Jeff's for the main course and ended at our home with dessert and a very competetive game of "Catch Phrase"!
I can hardly believe the holidays have come and gone, but as Autumn said to me on Christmas day....It was a Christmas miracle! She got a hamster and our whole family was together. It doesn't get any better than that!
Here's to a great 2009!

HALLOWEEN!

Every Halloween we have an annual "Hagen Halloween Bash!" We all wear costumes and have homemade breadsticks, with soup and chili, and a bunch of snacks! This year our family has had so much going on that we decided to tone it down a bit.Actually, it ended up being one of the best parties ever! I love my family!Even though all of my kids are technically adults (or very close), we still have such a great time!I think they enjoy Halloween now even more (or at least as much) as when they were small!
