Happy New Year ! 2009

Hopefully very soon I will have some pictures to document all the good times we had as a family through the holidays! Some of the highlights were: Attending the :"Twilight" movie premiere with my "girls",Hosting Thanksgiving dinner for my family, and the traditional "Turkey Bowl" game and Thanksgiving night movie. It is hard to find a movie that appeals to ages 2 through 50 but we all went to see BOLT.
Went to the Desert Star Christmas show and also with the Young Men and Women to see the lights at Temple Square.
It has been a family tradition to do the horse and buggy ride downtown, but now that our family has grown so much,it didn't sound so fun to be separated so we rented the trolley car at Thanksgiving Point and did the lights there. We had cocoa and sang Christmas Carols. It was a little cheesy, but we still had fun!
Probably my favorite thing was having a progressive dinner with my own little family.
We started at Heather and Travis' for soup and appetizers, then went to April and Eric's for soup and homemade breadsticks, then on to Heidi and Jeff's for the main course and ended at our home with dessert and a very competetive game of "Catch Phrase"!
I can hardly believe the holidays have come and gone, but as Autumn said to me on Christmas day....It was a Christmas miracle! She got a hamster and our whole family was together. It doesn't get any better than that!
Here's to a great 2009!

HALLOWEEN!

Every Halloween we have an annual "Hagen Halloween Bash!" We all wear costumes and have homemade breadsticks, with soup and chili, and a bunch of snacks! This year our family has had so much going on that we decided to tone it down a bit.Actually, it ended up being one of the best parties ever! I love my family!Even though all of my kids are technically adults (or very close), we still have such a great time!I think they enjoy Halloween now even more (or at least as much) as when they were small!

We are the Hagen's

So after much prodding and persuasion I have finally entered the blogging world!
Hold on, cuz here we go!
